Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we’ll be laying on a number of sponsored party evenings complete with great food and, of course, a free beer to help get the party started.  The Apeks UK  final party and BBQ is always lively, and in 2017 the Otter pizza and pub quiz evening was a particular highlight. Prepare for your taste buds to be entertained!

Cave Camp is a great opportunity to catch up with some of the biggest names in cave exploration who will be sharing their adventures with you throughout the event. We’ve lined up a packed schedule of talks covering a diverse range of projects across the globe. From the Ox Bel Ha Project and the Divers of the Dark to Bell Island and beyond, we promise you’ll be inspired! After the talks, why not share a beer and chat with them?

We don’t believe in ‘all work and no play’ so letting your hair down and relaxing over a beer is an important part of Cave Camp. Every night Underworld Tulum HQ will be the centre of social activities with attendees sharing a beer and diving stories next to the pool at the Underworld Palapa – just pick up some bottles of your favourite tipple from the local supermarket and join us for a drink…

No trip to beautiful Tulum would be complete without a visit to the stunning Mayan ruins located just outside Tulum. We'll be organising a visit for Cave Camp attendees...

Mexico is famous for its Mayan culture that dates back over thousands of years. Most famous for stories of human sacrifice and worship of the sun gods, visitors from across the globe flock to Mexico to visit it’s rich and diverse historical sites. Based in Tulum, we’re lucky to be located very close to perhaps one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in all of Mexico – the Mayan ruins within the Tulum National Park.

Originally built in the 13th-century, the picturesque walled Mayan archaeological site in Tulum overlooks the sea and has graced postcards and guidebooks for many years. The site incorporates the famous clifftop Castillo, built as a watchtower, and the Templo de las Pinturas, with a partially restored mural.

For attendees who wish to visit this historic site, we can organise a bespoke guided trip on one of your off-gassing days.
